Overview of the GEF-funded project to accelerate the transition to energy-efficient lighting and air conditioners in Sudan through the development of a national strategy which will foster adoption of regulatory mechanisms, such as minimum performance standards and labelling, along with supporting policies on enforcement, communications and environmentally sound management.
