This product registration systems roadmap responds to directives made by the 37th ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting (AMEM) on the continued enhancement of an ASEAN Energy Database System and supports the strategic objectives of the ASEAN Plan of Action for Energy Cooperation (APAEC) towards achieving energy security and sustainability for the region.
Its objective is to provide a framework for the activities which are necessary to harmonize product registration activities in the ASEAN region for energy-efficient air conditioners, refrigerators and lighting.
