This report was prepared for the Promotion of Higher Efficient Air Conditioners in ASEAN through Harmonisation of Standards and Strengthening of Market Verification and Enforcement Capabilities (Phase I) project and summarises the findings from a review of the current situations of air conditioner Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) and market profiles in ASEAN Member States (AMS) through coordination with Technical Working Group (TWG) and Policy Working Group (PWG) members, and proposes draft recommendations to assist AMS in updating the ASEAN Regional Policy Roadmap for energy efficient air conditioners.
