This video traces the market transformation towards more energy-efficient and climate friendly cooling appliances achieved in Ghana through efforts consolidated under the ECOFRIDGES GO initiative. Through interactions with different stakeholders, the video explores the key benefits realised by the programme and its anticipated impacts in the future as it transitions from the initial phase to more widespread use, such as improving access to energy-efficient cooling, mitigating adverse environmental impacts of fluorinated greenhouse gases, and harnessing market forces to drive investments in energy efficiency in the residential sector.
