The African Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Cooling and Cold Chain (ACES) was established in 2020 by the Governments of Rwanda and the United Kingdom, the United Nations Environment Programme’s United for Efficiency initiative, the Centre for Sustainable Cooling, and the University of Rwanda with a mission to develop and accelerate uptake of sustainable cold chain solutions in the agriculture and health sectors throughout Africa.
ACES will provide the applied research and dissemination, learning and teaching, and industrial collaboration to advance the widespread adoption of energy-efficient and climate-friendly cold-chain solutions in agriculture and health sectors.
Industry organisations interested in partnering with ACES can find out more in the ACES Pathways to Industry Engagement brochure and can register their interest using the ACES Expression of Interest Form.
