Project launch: Reducing black carbon emissions by transitioning to clean and sustainable lighting

Launch of a two-year pilot project to reduce health risks from lighting in Nigeria. Through the project Nigerians will get solar lighting that reduces their homes’ indoor air pollution, improving their health. United for Efficiency aims to support, in collaboration with United Nations Development Programme and Climate and Clean Air Coalition Secretariat, Nigerian policymakers to develop and implement policies reducing black carbon emissions.
