Southeast Asian Countries meet to discuss the regional harmonisation of lighting products. The process, initiated at the regional level in 2016, will continue through until 2018; and aims to remove inefficient lighting products from the national markets to mitigate climate change. The meetings are organised by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) SHINE programme, that is part of the global United for Efficiency initiative.
